Kallax Cargo AB owns the landing rights for cargo traffic at Kallax Airport. There is 120 hectares of exploitable land directly adjacent to the airport. In order to develop its offer to cargo carriers, Kallax Cargo AB is forming agreements with the best operators in each sector.

Kallax Cargo AB’s role is to organize, market and develop the offer of a northern shortcut route for air cargo, so that the greatest possible number of movements is achieved.
This vision will be realized in three stages:
  1. The establishment of Kallax Cargo Airport as the best alternative for technical stopovers between Europe and North East Asia.
  2. By making Kallax Cargo Airport an efficient hub for local, regional and Scandinavian freight to and from North East Asia and other destinations
  3. By making the airport an international hub for air cargo between several continents.

There is also business potential for operators who are able to contribute to making the northern shortcut for air cargo traffic a more attractive offer. But perhaps the most interesting business opportunities are opened up due to the infrastructure for global cargo transportation that already exists in northern Sweden. The region presents many exciting possibilities for education, recruiting, infrastructure and an interesting industrial and commercial sector.
